Troy's parents Kris and Dick Parkin travel the country selling scrap booking supplies at conventions. They had a show in Buffalo New York and invited us to tag along. First off we went to see Niagara Falls. They watched the girls while we went on...
The Maid of the Mist!
It is a boat that takes you down to the bottom of the falls. It was amazing!
They give you these huge ponchos because you get drenched by the mist!

Next we walked around the beautiful park.

Then we went down to the bottom of the falls (on the American side).
Again we got to wear some good looking ponchos!
Kailey walking the board walk with her grandpa.

There is a part of the board walk that lets you walk right under some of the falls. Kailey was watching while Troy went under. She was really concerned. She was crying and holding her arms out for him.

Looking over at the Canadian side.
This is the view from the Canadian side. It was WAY BETTER than the American side. It was amazing to see how much water was going over the edge. They said a 68 year old lady went over it in a barrel and survived. Apparently lots of other people have attempted it and not had the same luck.

Looking over at the Canadian side.I thought it was well worth the drive. Not to mention we ate at TGI Friday's and I had the best BBQ ribs (my favorite).
