New calling!

My poor girls have been a little neglected lately. Why you ask. I got a additional calling (on top of Relief Society Sports Coach). I am now the Girls Camp Director! The bishopric member who called me said "It will be like a heart attack, really painful for a short amount of time. Then it will be done!" Well, I only have about 10 weeks to pull everything together...not to mention find an actual location, a theme, an assistant, etc. I hope it doesn't REALLY give me a heart attack. Needless to say my girls have been watching a lot of movies lately.
One day I got off of the phone and saw Kailey at the table doing this...Yes that is a pencil and paper and she is pretending to talk on the phone...with a plastic pepper!

She was trying to be like mommy I guess because I have been on the phone with the young women's president, my sisters, friends, and camp reservation people trying to get some ideas for girls camp.

Tutu Website!

Well, the reason I have been so behind in my posts lately is because I have been super busy. Two of my sisters and I started up a little girls tutu business (online). It has taken up ALL of my spare time. Between designing/creating tutus, shopping for supplies, and setting up a website I haven't had any time or energy left over. Hopefully now that we have gone public I will be able to catch up on everything ;)

I hope all of you will check out our website and tell your friends and family. They really are adorable tutus, butterfly wings, and fairy wands. I would also appreciate it if you would add our button to your blog or website (if you want to). It helps our website have higher rankings with the search engines (like google). I am also happy to offer a "family and friends discount" to those of you who add our button to your blog.

Another photo shoot.

Kailey has been begging me lately to "Cheese Call and Tainey". Interpreted that means "take a picture of McCall and Kailey."

Sneeze!

Kailey's favorite song to dance to is "Switch" by Will Smith. She even has her own dance move to it. Now she has also taken up dancing with a partner ;)

Bedtime Buddies

Bedtime buddies. Kailey loves to have McCall lay by her as we are reading stories before bed. She always tells McCall what colors, animals, etc. are in the books. It is really sweet. I hope they will still be buddies when McCall starts taking Kailey's toys ;)

St Patrick's Day Surprise

For St Patrick's Day (well, the day after) Kailey and I decorated for Troy. When he got home and opened the garage door...this is what he found.

Kailey helped me color the shamrocks and there was a bunch that had sayings like "We are so LUCKY to have you", "You are the GOLD at the end of our RAINBOW", etc. Cheesy I know, but it was fun to do and I think Troy liked the surprise.

My not so happy helper. Apparently she wasn't done coloring.

Kailey is 2!!!

I can't believe my little girl is 2!!!Forget the spoon! She is going to town!

Kailey adds so much life and energy to our little family. She is always busy and is learning fast. We are so grateful for her. She is growing up WAY too fast.

a park break!

I packed up my girls and headed to Logan this weekend. My sisters and I are trying to start up a tutu business...so we were working on it all day Friday and most of Saturday. By the end of the day the kids felt restless and neglected, so we decided to take them to the park.
McCall took a badly needed nap and my sisters son (Josh) enjoyed the stroller ride.More to come on the tutu business soon I HOPE!
