Goblin Valley

We decided to take our camper for it's maiden voyage to Goblin Valley.
The first night we got there it rained, and rained, and rained! It was so muddy. I had to take this picture because it was all we saw the majority of the second day as well (the inside of the trailer looking out at the rain and mud).I was running out of ideas and activities to keep Kailey and McCall occupied. I was so upset that I told Troy I would rather go home. He went around the camp to see what everyone else was going to do (or just to get away from my complaining). We all decided to get in our cars and take a scenic drive. It was really pretty, but I didn't take any pictures. At the end of the drive we stopped for some ice cream. It was the highlight of the day. Every one's moods quickly changed.Kailey LOVED running around, dancing, and playing with her friends Taylie and Ellie Woodnot to mention she wouldn't stop hugging her buddy Jade Bangerter. We got back to camp and decided to go for a little hike. Yes I know Kevin Wood is in the background ;)The next day we were so excited to have nice weather. We all headed down to Goblin Valley State Park. I have lived in Utah my whole life, but I had never been there. It was AMAZING!!! Troy riding his "horse". Yeeehhaaawww cowboy!Kailey loved running around with the other kids and climbing on all of the rocks. After the state park a few of us went for a hike up a slot canyon. We walked for a long way but were stopped by a huge puddle. The last day we went four wheeling! It was so much FUN!!! I want a ranger now!The best part was that I got MY OWN four wheeler!Amazing arch!We also went Geo cashing. What a cool idea! For those of you who don't know what it is...you have GPS coordinates and you find a box (we called it buried treasure). Inside is random things, mostly cheap toys, etc. The rule is that you can take one thing out as long as you replace it with something else. The kids all loved it!McCall even fell asleep in the back of a ranger. I was really surprised because it was SO BUMPY.We REALLY enjoyed our trailer. It was so nice to have hot water, a BATHROOM, chicken cordon blue for dinner, a comfortable bed to sleep in, etc. I don't know how I ever camped with kids before.

It looks like so much fun! That stinks it rained so much, but so great you have a trailer to keep you dry!
