New Trailor!

One night Troy was searching KSL.com and low and behold! He found a trailor. He had been looking for months (just dreaming), then he came across this beauty and couldn't resist the price. He went and picked it up in Wyoming. We are so excited! I told Troy we WOULD NOT be doing much camping this year unless I had a trailor to put the girls in. I guess I need to threaten him more often ;) It is quite roomy inside. It has a kitchen (that has a couch and table/benches that fold into beds). One of my favorite features is the bunk beds!I also LOVE the "Master Bedroom". It even has a door to close it off from the rest of the trailor.
We have spent the last two weeks cleaning it out and getting it ready for camping! We can't wait.

Anniversary Dinner

Troy was in charge of our Anniversary this year...but unfortunately things fell through...the kids got sick...etc. so we went out to dinner to our favorite restaurant Red Lobster. Yes we took the kids with us.
oh well, at least it was really good food.McCall is still too little to have any yet...so she just tried to eat her sock ;)Poor Kailey had a pretty bad black eye (she fell on some rocks at my sister's house). She only cried for a minute and then went back and played. It wasn't until a few hours later that I could see the bruise. Doesn't every kid have to get a black eye at some point? I thought it was some right of passage.

Happy 6 Year Anniversary!

(Whistle, Whistle!)
Troy and I have been married for 6 Years!!! WOW! It has flown by. Here is to the best years of our lives Honey. I love you!
What a better way to celebrate than going to a sealing in the Logan Temple (the one we were sealed in). It was such an amazing reminder that I get to be with Troy and our kids FOREVER!
It was such an honor to be invited to Tommy and Jessica Weyerts sealing. They have been our friends since they moved on to our street. We love spending time with them and their beautiful girl Avery. It made me cry when they brought little Avery into the room to be seal to her parents. It was so neat!

Thanks again for letting us come!

Bedtime Routine

I always swore I won't be one of those mom's who had the LONG bedtime routine. Well, I guess I ate those words. I have really come to enjoy our bedtime routine lately. We drink our milk, brush our teeth (Kailey is getting really good at saying "AAAAHHHHHH"), and then we ALL squish onto Kailey's twin bed and read stories. Next we say prayers, sing a few songs, and kisses (Kailey insists that everyone gets a kiss and that they ALSO get a kiss on the forehead). The best thing is when Kailey pats the pillows for each of us. She will pat the pillow next to her and say "Daddy", then pat it on the other side and say "Call". She LOVES to have McCall there next to her. It just melts my heart.
The look on McCall's face says it all!For some reason I just feel better as a mother when I know my kids are happy when they go to sleep.Kailey LOVES to snuggle with her daddy.McCall is always pleased to be included and LOVES to listen to the stories.

Easter Sunday/ Troy's Birthday Party

Of course I was late for church because I had to do a little photo shoot of my girls in their cute Easter dresses! I mean look at these pictures, can you blame me?
After church we all looked for our Easter baskets...and Kailey went on a Easter egg hunt. Then we went over to grandma and grandpa Parkin's house for dinner and Easter games. We also celebrated Troy and Shawn's birthdays. Cousins! Cody, Jeff, and McCall all really close in age. After the other kids left, Kailey and McCall got some one on one time with grandma Parkin. She always puts so much effort in to the family parties, I am surprised she enjoys having them. She came up with some of the funnest games to play with the kids Easter eggs, not to mention a color coded Easter egg hunt for EVERYONE! The eggs had money, movie tickets, and of course lots of candy. We had a blast! We also got to go to the park with grandma and grandpa.Kailey got to play on the play ground, with the soccer ball and of course with her favorite person...Grandpa!One of her favorite things was rolling the ball down the hill to Troy who would kick it back up to her.

The BIG 30

Troy turned the BIG THREE ZERO! Yeah that is right 30! He is now officially old. LOL! Just kidding sweetheart! I thought I would take a minute and write down the top 10 things I love about him.
1) He is the best dad
2) He makes up some of the funniest lyrics (when he doesn't know the right words).
3) I love when he laughs so hard that there is no noise coming out of his mouth and his whole body just shakes.
4) I love when he calls me during the day and says "Hey Beautiful"
5) I love that he NEVER complains about my poor cooking skills
6) (Most of the time) I really appreciate that he is so frugal
7) He is so smart. He got almost straight A's in school (and college). He loves to learn new things.
8) He is the worlds hardest worker!!!
9) He is so patient with me and he always has been (especially when we first got married).
10) Did I mention he is the BEST DAD!

Happy Birthday Sweet Heart

Kaysville Easter Egg Hunt

Well, we stood in line for almost 30 minutes and it was over in less than 3. Here is a shot of the field before the kids (and parents) were unleashed. I couldn't believe how many parent were down on the ground scooping up eggs for their kids. Ridiculous!McCall fell asleep in the midst of the chaos. Kailey got her first egg and cracked it open to get at the candy...she didn't care about picking up anymore eggs until she had eaten it.
