Scrapbook Time!

It is scrapbook time ladies! My mother-in-law has offered her home for a "scrap booking sleep over" Friday October 10th to Saturday the 11th. Her house is in Centerville so it is nice and close but not TOO close (so the husbands and kids are not distracting). You don't scrapbook? (shame on you) that is OK, bring a craft or project to work on, or just come and hang out. If you are interested in coming please give me a call or post a comment.

Baby shower and Relief Society Broadcast.

I hosted a triple baby shower for my younger sister and two cousins on Saturday. Unfortunately I was so busy that I didn't take any pictures. Everything went well and it was fun to see friends and family come to support the moms to be. Since all of my sisters and mother were down from Logan for the shower they stayed and went to the Relief Society Broadcast with me. from left to right: Emily (26), Amber (29), Heidi (17), My mom RoseAnn, Michelle (21), and me (24).
The BELLY SHOT. Michelle is due Oct. 13th and I am due a few weeks later on Nov. 1st. It has been so fun to be pregnant at the same time.

Random catching up

I can't believe how big Kailey is getting. Some of her favorite things to eat are apples, string cheese, and chicken nuggets (only if dipped in BBQ sauce). Mommy's little helper. I walked in to the laundry room a few days ago and this is what I found. If you can't tell from the picture she tried to put some towels and wash clothes into the washer...but the glass door got in her way. Here is a recent belly shot as well. I am getting really excited to not be pregnant anymore.

Hill Aerospace Museum

Hill Aerospace Museum at Hill Air Force Base was having a food drive and an OPEN COCKPIT day. We went with a bunch of neighbors and had a great time. The kids were all so good! This plane was fun because it was so retro. There was orange EVERYWHERE! I was just excited for an opportunity to sit down. When we went inside the museum there was a veteran band playing music.Kailey found and chair, sat down, and began clapping! It was so cute.
She loved going up the ladders and looking inside the airplanes with her Dad.The most amazing plane in the whole museum was the SR-71 Blackbird
The plane itself looks like something out of a UFO movie. Another sign said that it can fly from New York to London in less than 2 hours!!!
Kailey thought this ramp was a slide and she refused to leave it alone.
What a great idea, and a fun activity! It made me want to brush up on my war history.

Fall Decorating!

We finally got our family pictures hung up on our wall (in our kitchen)
I am really happy with how it turned out. It makes our house more...complete.
Along with hanging pictures...I also decided it was time to get out my FALL DECORATIONS! Yeah! I love fall.
These are a few of my favorite things...(now that song will be stuck in your head ;)

Kailey's New Room almost done...

After Troy finished the bead board I was finally able to PAINT (which I love to do! Really! I LOVE to paint.)
Hey! I heard gas masks are way IN right now ;) I think it brings out my eyes.
The paint was awesome! It barely needed two coats. Troy said it could have done with out the second one...but what can I say I am a perfectionist...and I didn't want ANY brush marks or dots of tan left over.

After we took the tape off and a few touch ups it was ready for her new mattresses and bedding!
We actually just moved her crib into this room (on the opposite wall) so she will get used to sleeping in here. We are going to borrow my sister in law's canopy bed...when we switch Kailey over to a "Big GIRL Bed" but I just couldn't help putting together what we have.
The comforter is so cute! It even has sequins!

Utah State Fair

We went to the Utah State Fair in Salt lake on Saturday. It was a lot of fun to go around and look at the booths, eat yummy, food and see the displays and animals. Kailey loved the "Asian Tigers" exhibit.

She also loved the horses...she kept calling them "Dogs"
Then we went to the RODEO!!!
Our friends the Daybells came along with us. From left to right: Steve (Troy's mission companion), Thomas, Jamie, and Kaitlyn. It was really fun to get to spend some time with them.
Kailey was getting pretty restless towards the end...so Troy took her down to the ground level and she LOVED it!

Catch up time!

So I have decided I am a bulimic blogger. LOL! I binge and purge. I write a lot and then go threw long dry spells. I am finally caught up through August. They might not all show up so you will have to go to "Older Posts".
