Camping to Tony's Grove

We got invited by some friends to go camping at Tony's Grove. It was really pretty and Kailey LOVED playing with all of the kids...especially Nelson (what a little sweetheart)The kids got a little restless while we were waiting for dinner so I had to sing EVERY PRIMARY song I knew.Luckily they loved it and had a fun time.

Boutique

My friend Jessica hosted a neighborhood boutique where a few of us displayed and sold the products that we make. Heidi Terry sold beaded watches, Lisa Tanner sold Hair bows, and Joni Hayes sold diaper wipes case. There were a few other vendors too. I was quite proud of the tutu display that I created out of Troy's empty blind boxes.The star of the show was the Halloween tutu I created. It was such a fun time and I even got a few sales!

Timeless tantrum

Kailey was throwing a huge tantrum that apparently I made worse by laughing and taking pictures.McCall thought the photo shoot was fun, but she couldn't figure out what was wrong with Kailey.

Amazed at how much noise her older sister can make.McCall is trying to get Kailey to smile...or just stop screaming.I don't think it worked.I tried to distract them both with a treat after Kailey finally calmed down. Kailey had to line all of her Nilla wafers and oranges up BEFORE she could eat them.McCall was just excited for food!

Birthday continued...

My OLDER sister Emily and I have our birthdays two days apart. Needless to say that growing up we always had to share our parties with each other. I wasn't always happy about that, but now I am thrilled. She is one of my best friends and such a great example to me.She can always make me laugh!Speaking of laughing...my sisters were making fun of my shirt because my mother has always had a pair of PJ's that are hot pink and silky. My younger sister Michelle went up stair and put on the top of the PJ's and came down stairs to make fun of me. It was really funny and we were all laughing so hard we were crying. My mom, me, and McCallMy sweet nephew Josh and I. He is such a little character!Kailey and her cousin Lydia are best buddies and the night always ends in DANCING.Dancing always leads to ring around the Rosie's!

MY BIRTHDAY

The BIG 25 FINALLY CAME...and I am not as excited about it as I thought I would be. LOL!

I can't say I am in my "early" Twenties anymore. Oh well, I take comfort in knowing that Troy will always been way older than I am (by 5 1/2 YEARS)! Troy took me to Lagoon for my birthday and gave me a Garmin ForeRunner (a GPS Running watch). It is amazing!

Cousin Lunch for August

I have tree cousins that are close in age with me. We try and get together for lunch once a month to catch up. This month we went to Javier's in Ogden. It is on the way to Weber State and it is REALLY GOOD Mexican food! Kailey's favorite part is playing with "Leshee" AKA Alesha.

The birthday girls. My birthday is tomorrow and Valisa's in at the end of the month.Valisa, her daughter Berkley, and Millie.They came over and sang happy birthday to us, but luckily they only had one sombrero. LOL! Sorry Valisa ;)You can't beat fried ice cream!Kailey agreed with me.
