We drove over to the other part of the island and way up in the mountain. It was so beautiful! It reminded me of Kuai. Iao Needle is said to be a lookout where Maui warriors used to go and watch for other armies. I learned after we got back that it was used for other reasons that aren't "blog appropriate". LOL!

As many of you know...Troy served his mission in Hawaii (on Oahu, and Molokai) so we decorated our bedroom in the Old Hawaiian style (in other words there aren't any aloha shirts, blow up flowers, or grass skirts). I showed pictures of my room a while ago (you can go back and see what I mean). Anyway, we found these amazing statues that fit our decor perfectly. Other than a dress, and a few flowers for Kailey's hair these were the only souvenirs we bought. We had an amazing trip but in the end we were anxious to get back to see Kailey.

She was pretty shy and sad at first but after about 10 minutes she was smiling again. The next day if I ever went out of her sight she started freaking out. She just wanted to be held...which I didn't mind because I just wanted to hold her.
