Well, we stood in line for almost 30 minutes and it was over in less than 3. Here is a shot of the field before the kids (and parents) were unleashed. I couldn't believe how many parent were down on the ground scooping up eggs for their kids. Ridiculous!

McCall fell asleep in the midst of the chaos.
Kailey got her first egg and cracked it open to get at the candy...she didn't care about picking up anymore eggs until she had eaten it.

I am always astonished at how crazy some parents act during events like these. I always just have to stand back and laugh and wonder if they realize what they're acting like. It's cute how Kailey wanted to eat the candy out of the egg before looking for any more.
I was there and can testify to the madness. Did you notice the only Easter egg hunting age group that started before they even said go, was the one they allowed parents in? Go figure. It was fun to see you there. I wish we had gotten to chat more!
I hope you guys had a great rest of Easter.
How fun! We didn't venture out to any hunts this year. Last year kind of scared me off. It looks like Kailey had fun though, so maybe we will try it again next year.
