Rules of the game
6) Sun Shine!!!
My birthday is in the summer, there wasn’t any school in the summer, and there was always so much to do outside in. The world just comes alive when the sun is out! I just love sunny days. Last year was so much fun going to Cherry Hill (a water park) with my neighbors. I feel trapped and depressed in the winter. I HATE THE COLD!!! My perfect world would have warm weather and sunshine all year round except for Christmas and if I were to go skiing or snowboarding.
I can’t wait for it to warm up!
1. Rules of the game are posted at the beginning of post.
2. The player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves
3. At the end of the post the players then tags 6 other bloggers, and posts their names.
1) Digital Scrapbooking/ New Laptop
As many of you know I love to scrapbook. I recently changed over to digital scrapbooking and my husband and I would fight over who got to use the computer. Thank goodness I am married to the best guy in the world… because he got me a new laptop for Christmas! I absolutely love it and I have to admit I am addicted!

2) Shy Social Butterfly
I finally realized I must be a shy social butterfly. I love to be around people but it takes me a long time to build up enough courage to actually talk to any of them. I know this must sound crazy, but it is true. I find myself so worried that I am going to say or do something wrong that I just sit in the background. I must be regressing from high school. I was insecure about myself then as well, but I could put up a much better front than I do now.

3) Ballroom Dancing
My other passion is Ballroom dancing. I love to watch all of those dance shows like “So you think you can dance” and “Dancing with the Stars”. I took a social dance class in high school and then a few ballroom dance classes in college. One of the teachers came up and asked me to try out for one of the teams at BYU Idaho. I tried out and made it. It was so much fun because we mainly did Latin. I love the cha cha, rumba, samba, etc. I just can’t hold still when I listen to that music! I also trained and competed in a country swing competition. We did some of the most amazing stunts (my partner was a member of the stunt team for the cheerleaders). I was dating Troy at the time of the competition and he came to watch me…so did my Dad. That was the first time they met. I was really nervous but it went over well. My dad told me how jealous Troy acted when my partner and I won first place and he kept hugging me J. Hahaha . You are so cute Troy! Needless to say when I married Troy that was the end of my dancing competitions. It was too awkward to dance with other people. Troy did sign us up for ballroom dancing lesson here in Kaysville though. He is pretty good and it is so fun to dance again.
4) I love being a MOM!
Troy and I tried for about 6 months to get pregnant and when we finally did it was so exciting. I remember back in middle school and high school when you would have to write reports on “what you want to be when you grow up”. I would always put the same thing….”a Mother”…”or a singer/actress”. LOL! Well I am glad the first part worked out at least. I have really enjoyed being a stay at home mom. It isn’t the most glamorous job in the world but it is one of the most rewarding! Kailey has been such a good baby…and I think with her heart problems at the beginning I really appreciate her more. I is a lot of work but I love it!

5) Got married at 18
I thought I was so mature when I graduated from high school at age 17. I had my life all planned out. I was going to go to BYU Idaho and then marry my missionary when he got home, live in Cache Valley and have kids right away…not to mention be incredibly happy. LOL! I am so glad that Heavenly Father had another plan for me! I did go to BYU Idaho the summer after I graduated. I met Troy the first day of class that fall. We were engaged by New Years and married by April. Quick I know! Troy had to put up with a lot from his teenage bride. I think if I had married myself we would have been divorced two months later. Luckily I married Troy and we are about to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Troy has so many good qualities that I have been trying to learn. He is so good at saying “I am sorry” or “I was wrong”. It just makes all of my anger or hurt melt away. I am one lucky girl!
As for the rest of my “PLAN” we don’t live in Cache Valley and it took me four years to be ready to become a mom. The best thing about my “PLAN” was the ending…I am incredibly happy!

Sarah, I love these tag things because I love hearing fun stuff like this. I don't think I knew about the dancing, that is so cool. I have never thought that you were shy. I sometimes do that same thing though in big groups. I am glad you finally have a new post. I thought you dropped out of the blogging world so you could digiscrap all the time.
Thanks for answering my tag! I loved reading about you. I never thought of you as shy. I have a hard time getting to know people as well. I need to learn the digital scrapping thing...I just got a new computer so I can start!
We have a lot more in common than I thought! I recently switched to online scrapbooking and I LOVE it! It's so much easier and a lot less mess.
I've always been a little shy too, but yet I love being around people and having friends. I liked how you labeled that - a shy social butterfly. I never knew that about you.
I didn't know you were a ballroom dancer! I WISH I could convince Ben to take ballroom classes with me. Where in Kaysville do you go? That is so awesome!
Good to see you back in the blogging world. It it was fun learning some tid-bits about you!You mentioned snowboarding, do you like to snow-board? I do and there are not too many around here, if so we should go sometime. Also, we need to plan a digi-scrappin night with everyone, now that you've got the new laptop!
I always love reading these about everyone! I had no Idea, about the ballroom dancing, I think that is so cool! I would have never pegged you as shy, I have always thought that you were very outgoing. Nice you have a new laptop, and now you can digiscrap to your hearts content! It's nice to see you blogging again! Very fun..things to know about you!
I know I have been out of the blogging thing for a while...but that is because I don't have internet up on my laptop yet! I forget about blogging when I am too busy scrapbooking.
Sarah Talbot- You and Heidi Stott tagged me. Digi scrapbooking is awesome!
Debbie Dee- We took adult classes from Kellie Ford at Encore Performance (right by all the construction for the bridge here in Kaysville) the lessons are usually 5 weeks (every thursday night from 7:00pm to 8:00pm) and they are only $50 dollars (you can't even go to the movie together for $10 a night!). I would highly recommend it.
Rachel Hogge- I have been two or three times and I am not good at all...I can ski though (again I am not very good). I would be up for a little snow trip any day. We got new skis last year and have never used them because I was pregnant.
I am also up for a scapbooking night any time you and anyone else is available!!!
I learned some things about you--and some I already knew--but one thing that you are not is shy! I am shy! More than once, I have left some sort of interaction with you and thought, "I wish I had her personality!" Seriously, you are awesome! I will answer the tag when I can think of something not too boring--not too embarassing to write!
