March 2010

March 2010

March is Kailey’s birthday!
We had a combined Brandley family party where she got her princess jewelry, some kites, books, candy, etc. I can't believe she is already 3!!!

LOL! Apparently, the princess wasn't thrilled about the paparazzi.

Of course McCall loved the gifts almost as much as Kailey did.

Kailey had a Fairy Princess Birthday Party!
They made fruit loop necklaces, colored princess pictures, opened presents, ate flower rice crispy treats, sang happy birthday, and then put on their fairy wings and went on a scavenger hunt to find their flower suckers and a treasure box with jewelry inside. It was a hit! The girls had so much fun and there wasn’t any drama!

Kailey's friends were so generous! She got so many fun things.

Using her new hair do supplies on mommy

It requires serious concentration!

McCall loved them too!

St Patrick’s Day fun! My girls woke up to find the leprechauns tracks through out the house.

The girls also found leprechaun kisses on their cheeks! I got the ideas from my mother in law.

They also found leprechaun GOLD!

That darn trouble making leprechaun even turned our milk green!

We went to the Parkin's house for dinner. My mother in law made cute little name cards and a yummy dinner.

I found a great idea in the Family Fun Magazine for rainbow cupcakes with gold!

All the kids in their St. Patrick's Day outfits.

McCall singing the little mermaid song and playing with the doll ALL DAY!

Dress ups is one of their favorite things to do.

Ward Karaoke party. I was REALLY brave and sang Dixie Chicks.
At least I can check that off my bucket list. Terrifying! I don't think I will ever do that again.

January 2010

Ok, here is my attempt at catching up. I am going to just make one post per month until I am caught up. That is only 8 posts! So here is what we did in January:
We went sledding with the all the Parkin family, then had hot chocolate at Tonya and Chads house.Kailey had her first play date! We invited Ellie Wood over to play dress ups and eat lunch. The had SO MUCH FUN!For Family Night we invited the Bangerters over for some Book of Mormon sculpting. We picked a strip of paper out of a bowl and had to tell what happened in that scripture story. Then we all made something from the story out of play dough. It was great!Michelle and JadeHunter and SageSurprisingly, Ricki was the most talented. Everyone of his was 3D and VERY detailed. We had to make him hurry a few times.

Here are a few of our master pieces:My girls didn't know what was going on, but they had a great time squishing the play dough and playing with friends!Kailey looked so old in this outfit that I had to take a few pictures before church.

Time is flying by.McCall is finally figuring out how to walk!!! She gets so excited! So proud of our "little baby"We also had a visit from cousin Jade and Aunt Michelle. This was their favorite place to play.Jade was all smiles! We LOVE Aunt Belle!
