Kailey is 2!!!

I can't believe my little girl is 2!!!Forget the spoon! She is going to town!

Kailey adds so much life and energy to our little family. She is always busy and is learning fast. We are so grateful for her. She is growing up WAY too fast.

a park break!

I packed up my girls and headed to Logan this weekend. My sisters and I are trying to start up a tutu business...so we were working on it all day Friday and most of Saturday. By the end of the day the kids felt restless and neglected, so we decided to take them to the park.
McCall took a badly needed nap and my sisters son (Josh) enjoyed the stroller ride.More to come on the tutu business soon I HOPE!

Cousin Lunch

Almost every month my three cousin's and I go out for lunch. This month we invited our grandmother to go with us.
This month we went to celebrate my cousin Millie's birthday. My grandmother Brandley came with us. It was so fun to have her come and get to know her a little more. She said she loves getting her "Girl Time" (she had 11 boys!!!) and she has a lot of catching up to do. She is a saint!

My cousin Valisa had her baby a few weeks after I had McCall.
Here are the two cute girls McCall and Berkley.

My cousin Alesha gave Kailey some candy for her birthday.
Her favorite thing was the candy bracelet.
Kailey was so excited to see her Great Grandma Brandley. She ran right up to her and gave her a big hug as soon as she walked in the door.

FHE bowling

For family night we decided to take Kailey bowling for the first time. She loved it! She even cried when we had to leave.
She got so excited when it was her turn that she tripped and fell head first into the ramp. She got a big bruise on her check but quickly forgot about the pain when we said it was her turn to push the ball.

This picture doesn't do the bruise justice. It looked like she tried to put on blush with a grey powder.
We invited Troy's parents at the last minute and they were good enough sports to drop what they were doing and come with us. It was a lot of fun!
It's no surprise that Troy beat us all. He is REALLY good. I think he scored 176! I am not going to tell you my score (let's just say Kailey beat me).

Thirsty?

I find this little doll ALL over the house. I have found it in my bed, in the tub, in the rocking chair, the baby swing, sitting up on the couch watching TV, and now in the high chair. Kailey is really considerate of what the baby needs whether it be a nap, a bath, a movie or a tall drink of water.

Natural good taste.

I heard Kailey calling for me the other day and this is what I found... Does she have good taste or what?
of all the shoes she could grab she grabbed the four inch black stilettos. NICE work Kailey! Her hair isn't done and she is still in her pajamas but at least she has the most important accessory.

Most of the activities Kailey does through out the day usually involve wanting McCall to do it with her. When I walked into the room holding McCall she said "Mine Call Mine". LOL! Don't get me wrong Kailey adores McCall and can't wait until she gets big enough to play with. We will be driving in the car and I will turn on some music and Kailey will say "Dance Call Dance!!!" She also wants to make sure that McCall knows when we are eating lunch, watching "Belle" and when Daddy comes home. I guess today she just wanted McCall to know that she already called dibs on these shoes.

4 months old!

I can't believe McCall is 4 months old already! She has been such an AMAZINGLY HAPPY baby, and has brought so much joy to our home. She is our little tank! She almost sleeps through the night and hardly ever cries. That is a lot in part to this little habit...
She can't seem to make it through the day unless she is sucking on those two fingers. She REFUSES to take a Binky but will go peacefully off to sleep as long as she can have those tasty little fingers in her mouth. There have even been times when she is nursing that she tries to wiggle her fingers in to her mouth instead.
Am I a bad mother because I let her suck on her fingers?

She always has a smile on her face (except when she hears Kailey coming, then it is more of a wince). She loves to sing and coo. She is getting really good at holding her head up during tummy time (unless she finds those fingers, then she is content to lay her head on the floor and just munch away at them). She has started to giggle and laugh when we tickle her or nibble at her neck. It is the sweetest sound ever! I will see if I can get it on film. She has a doctor appointment next week and I will have to post her stats. She is our little calm and content baby. It has been a welcomed change from Kailey's energy. I think McCall takes more after me ;)
